Privacy
Aydlo lives on your Mac or PC, and what it shows you stays there. This page lists the few times it talks to the internet, what aydlo.com collects when you buy, and how to have your details deleted.
In short
- Your music, calendar, clipboard, files and notes never leave your computer.
- No account, no tracking cookies, no advertising.
- Stripe takes the payment. We never see your card.
- We keep no customer database: your licence key carries what the app needs.
- Write to [email protected] for anything about your data.
What stays on your computer
Everything Aydlo shows you is read on your computer and stays there: what is playing, your calendar, your timers, the files you drop on the Shelf, your clipboard history, your notes and to-dos.
To show a microphone or camera light, Aydlo checks whether an app is using them. It never records, and it never listens.
On Windows, the calendar address you paste and the day’s activity list are sealed with Windows’ own encryption, so only your Windows account can read them. The clipboard history is kept in memory only, and skips what password managers mark as private.
When Aydlo goes online
Updates, on a Mac
Once a day Aydlo asks aydlo.com whether a new version exists, with a plain request that carries no identifier. When you choose Update, it downloads the new version and checks that we signed it before installing it.
Your licence
A monthly licence asks aydlo.com for the next month’s key near the end of each month. It sends the key itself and nothing else. A key bought once never needs to ask.
Album artwork, on a Mac
When a song streamed from Apple Music comes without its cover, Aydlo looks it up in Apple’s public catalogue with the song’s title and artist.
Your calendar
On Windows, Aydlo fetches your calendar directly from the address you gave it, at your calendar provider. On a Mac, it reads the calendars macOS already has.
Notion, on a Mac, if you connect it
If you connect Notion, Aydlo talks to Notion directly with the access you granted. Nothing passes through us.
Phone notifications, on a Mac, if you pair a phone
Pairing passes a one-time code through aydlo.com, which forgets it after ten minutes. After that, your computer sends each notification itself, encrypted so that only your phone can read it, through your phone’s own push service (Apple, Google, Mozilla or Microsoft).
Links you open
Join opens your meeting in Zoom, Meet or Teams. Numbers opens WhatsApp with the number ready; nothing is sent until you send it there.
When you buy
Stripe runs the checkout. It collects your card and email address under its own privacy terms, and we never see your card. Afterwards, aydlo.com asks Stripe whether the purchase is paid and signs your licence key. For a monthly licence the key also carries your Stripe subscription number and the last day it covers.
We email your key to the address you paid with, through Resend. We keep no separate customer database: Stripe holds the record of your purchase.
This website
aydlo.com sets no cookies and loads nothing from advertisers. Cloudflare hosts it and keeps routine technical logs. We may count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which sets no cookies and gives us totals, not a profile of you.
If you report a problem
On Windows, Report a problem puts a zip of Aydlo’s own logs on your Desktop and opens an email to [email protected]. You choose whether to attach it. It never contains your clipboard or your calendar, and nothing is sent by itself.
Your choices
Write to [email protected] to ask what we hold about you, to correct it or to delete it. To change your card, see your receipts or cancel a monthly licence, use Your subscription.
Changes
If what Aydlo collects changes, we update this page and the date at the top.
